2018 – Papua New Guinea – Earthquake

The massive quake had its epicentre 10 kilometres west of the small town of Komo in the Hela Province of PNG. AUSMAT deployed two medical teams, with the primary mission to embed with local health professionals and provide clinical surge support to Mendi Hospital. The team treated 1025 patients between March 26 and April 9.
