2020 – Papua New Guinea – COVID-19

An AUSMAT was activated in early August to assist the PNG with a rapidly escalating second wave of COVID infections. Working with many of the health workers leading the response, the team were able to highlight issues and offer suggestions as to how to improve capabilities. By early October, cases had significantly reduced.
