2021 – India – COVID-19

In May 2021, an AUSMAT Public Health Expert deployed to India to support the Australian Government in repatriating Australian’s amidst the country’s second wave of COVID-19 transmissions.

AUSMAT provided expert public health support, advice and assurance on departure processing, assistance during pre-departure testing regimes, and infection prevention and control during transit.
