Public Health Operations in Emergencies for National Strengthening in the Indo-Pacific (PHOENIX)
The National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre (NCCTRC) has been engaged by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to strengthen pandemic preparedness and outbreak response systems and capacity in the Indo-Pacific through the PHOENIX program.
The PHOENIX project proposes engagement with twenty-two countries across the Indo-Pacific.
South-East Asia
Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Timor-Leste, Thailand, Vietnam.
Pacific
Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
