Delivered over 3 days in partnership with the World Health Organization Western Pacific Region (WPRO), this course supported the Ministry of Health Tonga’s inaugural Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (PHEOC) Training and Simulation Exercise. The exercise provided participants with foundational knowledge of PHEOC principles and the opportunity to apply them in a realistic, scenario-based environment, bringing together more than 31 national and subnational leaders from across multiple sectors to test public health emergency management systems.
