Senior Research Officer

Jutta joined the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre as Senior Research Officer in the Public Health Directorate in 2025. She comes with more than 35 years of experience in planning, implementing and supervising clinical and laboratory research projects in global health across Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Her research focused on the development and validation of novel tools to strengthen disease surveillance and control in resource-restricted countries. She is passionate about working in multidisciplinary teams, translating research findings into tangible public health outcomes and providing research training to professionals from diverse cultural and disciplinary backgrounds.
