Trans-Tasman teamwork: medical deployment to support Samoa’s dengue outbreak

The recent dengue outbreak in Samoa prompted a joint medical response from New Zealand Medical Assistance Team (NZMAT) and Australian Medical Assistance Team (AUSMAT) – marking a milestone integration of the two teams operating to World Health Organization (WHO) Emergency Medical Team (EMT) standards.
